Wireless Remote Control Transmitter Storage

Protect your investment! Remember to keep your track machine remote control (RC) transmitter secure and protected from the elements. You have better things to spend your money on than purchasing a replacement remote. Since early 2005, all 6610DT, 6620DT, and 7720DT machines have come equipped with a shelf in the top portion of the lockable battery compartment to provide protection from the environment and a secure location for the RC transmitter when the machine is unattended. For 7730DT machine owners, the lockable tool storage compartment on the control panel side of the machine provides convenient storage and protection for the RC transmitter. Geoprobe Systems® recommends that the transmitters never be stored in the open. Caution should be taken when using the remote during rainfallor during the machine’s decontamination process so that no moisture is allowed to contact the internal wiring of the remote. Keep your investment safe, secure, and protected at all times.
